Happy new year.
I’m sending you this love note on the first morning of a year I both wondered if I’d live to see and yet have been dreading.
I’m letting go of the dread and softening into the light that’s always here, even when it’s hard to see.
This holiday season has been unusual for me. I made and sent more gifts than ever (the videos below offer snapshots), and for the first time, I’ve lit Chanukah candles every night. Somehow, the light persists. In the darkest darkness, it shines.
Please remember this.
Enjoy the videos, and I’d love to hear what lit you up as we stepped into the new year.

Hello Sue and Happy Holiday. Your work is a treasure. If I received one of your cards, I would certainly display and treasure it. The latkes will not go to waste. Maybe you could share some with your neighbors.
