Wow!!! I am just like you!!! I do my research, but am having trouble knowing the right questions to ask. Now I've got to figure out where my records are kept (I've never gone on My Chart, and don't know how to); my hubs can make a pdf, I guess. Are you on the paid customer for Chat GPT, or a free version? What do I need? How do I get started? I am AMAZED at all you've learned? Are you scheduled for a longer appointment than the standard 15 minute appointment? As an aside, I've been shifted from the Internist, to his very nice Nurse Practitioner, and I have an odd feeling that it's because I ask too many questions! 😳 She's nice, but it's clear she doesn't have the same level of diagnostic skills. I miss my old doctor who changed his practice to a "Concierge" practice, and did not "invite" us to stay (not that we could have afforded this). He was THE BEST diagnostician ever! I'm sure he's retired now, plus we moved to a - if not a medical desert, certainly not where the best of the best practice. For that, you have to drive 1 1/2 hours to San Diego and it's getting too hard.

I really want to figure out what you did. I had mystery abdominal pains for months. Had a number of tests with no diagnosis. I started dieting, which seemed to help, but I'm going for endoscopy/colonoscopy at UCSD, even tho I feel better (I'm sure it's been over 10 years, so it's time.) plus, I've been diagnosed diabetes type II, and I need info how to fight it with diet and exercise, if possible. (I had weight-related diabetes 25 years before, but bariatric surgery out my diabetes in remission -!I thought I was "cured". 😔

Anyway, I'm glad to have found you!!😊💕
